Missed the Friday home game because I had to work late. Arrived in time to deal the final table and then play a limit hold ‘em cash game in which almost every pot was straddled and capped preflop. Fortunately all my gut shots and two-outers held up, and I was able to take my fair share of cash off the table. I also spanked Teddy in props! Ha!

It’s that time of year again – the Tribeca Film Festival is here! I’ve made my list of films I want to see, so take a look and shoot me an email if there’s something that tickles your fancy. At twelve bucks a pop, it could be an expensive two weeks……

My new website is coming along. I am trying to figure out a way to redirect this blog to the blog page on my site. Anyone tech-tastic like that? Anyone know a way I might be able to use a template I design myself with Blogger?

Played rotation last night at the club – hold ‘em, omaha h/l, stud8, and triple draw. I would have booked a nice win if I hadn’t been doing props with Teddy. I don’t usually play props, but it’s the only way to get Teddy’s action gremlin under control and get him to play serious poker, so we were playing a 25 cent prop, red or black on the flop, trips pay double. You might think it impossible to lose $20 on this prop during a four-hour session, but Teddy caught a sick run of red flops and I’m pretty sure I lost at least $20 on this prop. Anyone else think I was getting hustled?? ;0)

I still managed to book a miniscule win, and more importantly had a great time. Maybe we can convince Rob to run a serious HOET game….?
