Remember when Happy Gilmore learned how to putt? Remember how improbable that seemed, but then he did it anyway? Well in that same vein, it seems that I am learning how to cook. Without burning my kitchen down. And without punching Bob Barker in the face.

One of Oscar’s favorite dishes is lentils with meatballs. After a few test runs, I kicked off the training wheels and took a solo flight into the land of lentils.

This is not a complex dish, but it’s still a big achievement for me. And so, I present to you my latest photo series: “Lentils with Meatballs: L’eggo My Legume.”
