Every day there is a new reason to love Barcelona. Today’s reason: the hand-painted papers by local artist Montse Buxó i Marsá. Featured in this NYT article, I have been admiring these gorgeous papers at my favorite stationery store, Raima, ever since I moved here. Admiring, but not buying; no project is worthy of such papers.
Of course, I could do what many of Ms. Buxó’s admirers do, and frame some of her work. The riot of colors and unique patterns would make for a striking addition to any room of the house.
I wonder if she’d take an apprentice…
