Tomorrow I’m heading to New York for a couple of weeks. While there I will enjoy time with friends and family, eat a bunch of turkey, and oh yeah, GET MARRIED. It seems like I just arrived in Barcelona, but in fact it’s been almost three months. Amazing. This year has really shown that you never know where life will take you – from Brazil to Brooklyn, from Tel Aviv to Catalonia – from “In a Relationship” to “Engaged” and soon “Married” (keep an eye on your Facebook feeds, folks). Although there have been some extremely shitty parts along the way, I would have to call 2008 one of the most intense and wonderful years of my life.
For those interested in hanging out, here’s a rough travel itinerary:
- 11/18 | En route to the US
- 11/19-11/22 | Brooklyn
- 11/23 | Arrive Niskayuna
- 11/26 | Getting married!
- 11/27 | Eating turkey!
- 11/30 | En route to Brooklyn
- 12/2 | Back to BCN
Enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday, everyone! And to my Barna readers: take care of Oscar for the next few days! I expect him to arrive in Brooklyn in one piece.
