Road Trip: Vic and Rupit

We took a trip to Rupit, a village known for its ancient stone houses built among some fascinating rock formations. On the way, we stopped in Vic to visit the Plaça Major and cruise the green market. Now that it’s getting a little warmer and sunnier, I hope to do many more excursions like this one. (Also so I can practice driving stick. Look out!)

There are lots of interesting towns and counties within easy driving distance of Barcelona. Which are your favorites? Leave your suggested itineraries in the comments!

And if once in a while you want some more crowd, count with us!

Great towns near Barcelona? How about Brooklyn?? I hear it is lovely. And really just a hop, skip, and a jump away!
