September 11 is Catalunya’s national day. There will be concerts, memorials, free admission to museums and galleries, and of course, people building human castles. In preparation for the holiday (when no one here will be working…except for me) we hung the estel·lada on our balcony. The four red stripes on a yellow background is the flag of the Spanish region. The star is added on independentist flags.
